Malta Customs have reported that in 2021, 12 out of 20 containers which were in transit through Malta were found to be carrying counterfeit products, with a market value of €58,608,875. With respect to domestic consignments, 65 out of 68 containers were found to be carrying counterfeit products, amounting to a market value of €359,840. Well done to all those involved at Malta Customs for their continued vigilance in the robust fight against counterfeit goods.
